Bring It On

We love the challenge of creating fully custom typography, it allows us to really produce something unique and client specific that nobody else will have used before.
For type such as this, we start by sketching and planning out by hand, over and over again, until the composition flows effectively.
We then use our hand lettering as a guide to produce the final piece as a vector.
And add any colour or amendments we feel necessary.

The advantages of having custom lettering designed to your specifications, is that it will be completely unique, and open up the freedom to manipulate the type, to draw your eye directly to it and then all around it.
This creates an attractive piece of art, and not just a generic box of text.

Change It Up

It doesn’t have to appear fancy to be effective.
Here we created a very basic font to start with,
And used that as our inspiration to make it different and keep the viewers attention on it for longer than the period of time it takes to read it.

Customised type and lettering is a fantastic addition to an illustration based design. It can work perfectly for not just display art, but promotional graphics and advertising too.

Rise

Sometimes adding some depth to your type can help bring it to life, and even reflect the word itself.
In this piece, we used the word ‘Rise’ as part of our brief on how to present it, and structured it protruding from out of the ground to be greeted by a white and glowing room.
